Alright Matt here goes.

Too big.  It's obvious that you resized the pictures to fit the banner but when you do that, you should resize the background to fit the pictures.  They placement is way too crowded.  And it's plain.  Tell me what program you use and I can be specific about advice okay.  Other than that I can just go with what is wrong and not where you can go from there.

Matt, get ahold of me tonight. I have CS2. I should be able to walk ya through most of the basic stuff, but I gotta agree with kat on this one. Most banners that people make are around 600x450 ish. You don't need to stretch out the pics to accomadate the size of the banner. I'll grab some pics of BA Taker, and show ya an example when I get off work tonight.
